Bev and Kev - Cards

Overview

This 2023 shortlisted Early Childhood Book is a story of friendship and fitting in with your surroundings. Bev walked a long way to finally find Kev - someone whom she could feel good to be around.

The activities for this book are designed for children in Year One or Two as they look at ordering animals from shortest to tallest, learning where animals live in the world, symbiotic relationships and drawing a giraffe.

For something a little more active you could play some music and get children to move like the animals in the book. They could walk tall and proud like a giraffe, strut like a secretary bird, waddle like a penguin or scamper like a monkey.
