Overview
This 2023 CBCA notable early childhood book explores a wide range of adult disabilities and how these in no way stop their children from having a wonderful childhood. From those in wheelchairs, to those with blindness, deafness or autism the story shines a light on what they can do not what they can’t.
The activities for this book are to be used in addition to the story and provide a way to teach children of any age about Auslan for signing for people who are deaf and braille to allow those who are blind to read which are just 2 of the many disabilities mentioned in the story.
