Overview

This 2023 CBCA notable picture book of the year is a simple colourful tale of friendship and sustainability for the plant to be able to recover from climate change.


The activities for this book are designed for very young children and they include a matching shadow activity, drawing facial features on eggs to show emotions, a sorting activity for seeds versus eggs and a life cycle of a tree activity.
