Gus is the only asparagus in his family and is happy until he goes to school and realises that he does not fit in with the other students. This is a story about accepting that you do not need to fit in while also learning about green leafy vegetables. We have made 6 fun activities for this story which are a craft activity to make an asparagus, a vegetable cut and paste, separating fruit and vegetables, finding the odd one out, a colour by number poster and three dot to dots.
