Overview

The Children Book Council of Australia (CBCA) winning Picture Book and notable Eve Pownall Award book this is a beautifully illustrated story of an iceberg and its travels through the seasons in Antarctica. From how it is calved through the many animals it passes both above and below the water.

This is perfect for children from Years 2 to 6 or even those older studying the changing planet of the 21st Century. The team at Learn From Play have made 6 activities for this book which are a drawing of the Aurora lights, the migration of the southern shearwater, definitions of the many ice related terms in the book, a food map of animals in Antarctica, a seal origami and a comprehension on seals and how they hunt for food.
