Overview

A 2023 short listed picture book is a beautiful bilingual story teaching young children that the Dreaming is not something from the past but something continuous happening now and into the future. Everyone is part of the Dreaming and needs to learn the lessons Mother Earth is trying to teach us.

The activities for this book are designed for children from Pre-school age to those in Year 2 as students are asked to explore their local Dreaming stories from First Nations people and learn more about the traditional teachings of their land.
