Somebody's Land Book Activities Games
Overview
A timely and important story for young children to learn that Australia was not Terra Nullius when Captain Cook arrived - it was Aboriginal land. Always was and Always will be. This story helps both adults and children understand the importance of acknowledging Country and the rich traditions of the custodians of this land that we call Australia.
The 6 activities that the team at Learn From Play have made for this book allow easy engagement with the story for children from pre-school to Year 6 with a berry collecting maze, a dot to dot, a cartesian plane mapping activity, a comprehension about the Uluru Statement and a chance to create a poster to practice your local acknowledgment of Country.
