Overview

This 2023 notable book for New Illustrator is a whimsical tale of children playing hide and seek. A favourite of children all over the world this story is about one child who selects such a good hiding spot that he stays hidden for a long time. It is also a tale of solitude and being comfortable with your own company and the sounds that surround you.


The activities for this book are designed for children from Kindergarten to Year 3 although children of all ages and those young at heart enjoy playing hide and seek. There are 3 versions of the game provided to allow this to be played at home, on school camps or at schools and other learning centres.
