The Good Egg Book Activities Games
Overview
Another clever book by John Jory and Pete Oswald The Good Egg has been voted one of the best children books of 2020. A clever story of how stress can make one"crack up" and how taking time for ourselves is so important. It also looks at the pressure children place on themselves to always be good and how sometimes being a little bit bad can be a good thing.
There are 6 activities for this book aimed at both very young students and those slightly older who may be starting to show signs of stress by pushing themselves to achieve perfection. These activities include creating illustrations similar to those in the book with a focus on the facial expressions of each character, classifying actions as good and bad, creating rhyming words, a maths sheet asking student to count the number of eggs and making a face mask and decorating zentangle eggs. The final activity is a memory game to allow students to have some fun playing together and improve their short-term memory at the same time.
