The Great Rabbit Chase was a 2018 Honours Picture Book of the Year and is both written and illustrated by the very talented Freya Blackwood. This story follows a young red headed girl in her chase to catch her new rabbit called Gumboots. It is an adorable look at a small town who work together to find this cheeky bunny while also taking time for themselves in the park to eat cupcakes, paddle in the creek and have a short nap.
