The March Of The Ants Book Activities Games

Overview

This 2022 notable early childhood book of the year was also the story written for the ceremony announcing Ursula Dubosarsky as the Australian Children Laureate for 2020-21. It is a whimsical story of a young ant who empowers her fellow ants by sharing stories from her favourite book.

The team at Learn From Play have made 4 activities to celebrate this story and allow children in pre-school or Foundation to engage with it more fully. These are a tracing activity of some of the things the ants took with them, a cut and paste activity to sort things the ants would and would not have taken with them, step by step instructions to draw an ant and an activity to retell your favourite story.",
