Overview

This informative book by Ashleigh Barton with pictures by Martina Heiduczek is a 2021 CBCA Notable Book for Early Childhood. Designed for young children and grandparents everywhere it looks at the different names grandchildren use to refer to their much loved grandpas.


With this book aimed at Pre-School and Kindergarten / Foundation aged students we have created 6 age appropriated activities. These include matching rhyming words from the book, a dot-to-dot, matching children with their grandpas, making a paper boat, a find a word and a drawing activity.
