Overview

This 2023 CBCA notable picture book of the year is a story of love between two very young brothers as the older brother regales his younger sibling with all the things they will do together when they get older. This book is perfect for any young children who have a sibling who is not yet able to play with them and only sleeps and drinks milk as they say in the story.

The activities for this book are designed for children from Kindergarten to Year 2 as they explore both the underlying message of the story and the literal meaning of parts such as bats using sonar and the mechanics of illustrating the story.
