Happy New Year to all our dedicated educators and book lovers! As we step into 2025, the team at Learn From Play is excited to unveil a host of enriching resources and activities designed to support and inspire both teachers and students throughout the year.
What’s New This Year?
This year, we are committed to providing even more comprehensive support to help you engage and educate your students:
Biweekly Book Releases: We are thrilled to announce that we will be releasing at least three books every two weeks. These carefully selected titles will continue to support the CBCA notable and shortlisted books and provide a wide range of engaging reading material suitable for various age groups and interests.
Fortnightly Blogs and Podcast: Starting this year, read a new blog post filled with insights, tips, and inspiration every other Monday. Additionally, Paddy and I will be creating a podcast every other week to give you a closer look at the people behind Learn From Play, new books and book themes, answer questions from our Learn From Play community and share real-world tips from our 20+ years of teaching experience to help you navigate the everyday challenges of education.
Special Fortnightly Extras: Every two weeks, look out for an extra treat from us. Whether it’s a creative costume idea for Book Week, a beautifully designed poster to enhance your teaching space, or our newly updated Maths ‘N’ Movement activities, these resources are crafted to add value and fun to your teaching experience.
Library-Specific Resources: In response to requests from many of you, we are also introducing new library-specific resources. These will include tools to help children find "good fit" books, understand the differences between fiction and non-fiction, and learn how to identify various parts of a book. These resources are designed to make the library a more accessible and enjoyable place for every student.
Our Commitment to You
At Learn From Play, we are passionate about making education both fun and effective. We believe that the right resources can transform learning, spark creativity, and foster a lifelong love of reading. We are dedicated to supporting you, the educators, who make all of this possible.
We invite you to explore our new offerings and join us in making 2025 a year of unforgettable learning and growth. Your feedback is invaluable to us, so please let us know how we can continue to support your classroom and any questions you may like us to answer in our podcast.
Here’s to a successful and inspiring year ahead!
Happy teaching, Rachel and Paddy
